I stayed at the Palm Village during my two month study
abroad trip in Cambodia that lasted from June 6th until July
21st. Although our group was relatively large given the size
of the villa, I believed that staff did a wonderful job to
accommodate our needs and provided very quality service. The staff were very sweet and did a good job memorizing our breakfast orders. The rooms were very clean. The showers are large and the pool was great. If you stay here, you must rent a bike. Bike riding through the countryside was one of the happiest days of my life. You must try the pancakes with the Cambodian honey/syrup! I loved the Palm Village and when I return to Angkor Wat, I will most definitely stay here again. - Charlotte E. Just returned 4/1/08 after staying at Palm Village for 5 days. It was beautiful and the staff was wonderful. Our bungalow was perfect as the food was also. I couldn't think of staying anywhere else except there.
Pure tranqulity with lovely gentle people. - Karen Lewis, USA |

My wife and I stayed here late Dec 2007 for our honeymoon. It was perfect! The people here are super nice, it was away from the main tourist strip yet close to Angkor Wat.
They organized a very knowledgeable and fun guide to introduce us to the Wats. The food was amazing using produce fresh from their gardens. And we enjoyed the best massages ever every night.
Life couldn't get much better:) Thanks again to everyone at Palm Village for making our honeymoon special. - Imran Akbari, USA |

Palm Village couldn't have been better. The food was authentic and the young man that served our meals was so nice to us, as was everyone who works there. The accommodations were great, I loved the tower for watching sunsets and drinking Angkor Beer. Our driver Louie and guide Vanny were great, they knew so much about Cambodia's history and were happy to share it with us. We will certainly ask for them when we return, and recommend you do so as well. We are forever indebted to them for their kindness and generosity. Thank you for making our honeymoon so beautiful, we can't wait to come back. - Dustin and Robin Blasius, USA |

My stay in Palm Village was one of the most memorable part of my vacation in Siem Reap. Its isolated location made a perfect getaway from all the busy streets and wats/temples. I very much enjoyed my cozy bungalow with its glass ceiling bathroom. And now that I am back in California, I reminisce about how peaceful it was to float in the pool at night (in the dark) and watch all the stars twinkle in the sky, and how rejuvenating it felt every morning see the beautiful flowers bloom outside my porch. To top it all, the staff were kind, pleasant, and accomodating. Such a wonderful experience--thank you. Date of stay: September 13-19, 2007. - Emma Deogracias, USA |

My husband and I stayed in palm village for 7 days and we are happy that we have made the right choice. All the staff there always make us so welcome and we feel like at home. Although the place is a bit out of town but it is the peacefullness that will embrace you whole day. If anyone are looking for a place to relax and take things easy, then palm village is definately your best choice. - Fion Kong, Singapore |

Em and the staff at Palm Village were wonderful. We would also like to thank our driver Kim for all of his expertise and local knowledge. He was a great guide for our Cambodia experience. The villas were very homey and the locale was exotic. I highly recommend the Palm Village for any Siem Reap visitors.

- Joachim, Peter, Karle, Germany |

Hi! Thank you very much for everything. The cottages were lovely and
comfortable, breakfast was delicious (I especially love chicken porridge).
I wished we could have tried your Khmer dinner. I love the beautiful flowers
around our cottages... I wish we could spend more time at Palm Village. Thank you very much. Hope to visit you again in the near future! - Ayuri Yuasa, Hiroyuki Ito & Takako Yuasa, Japanese |

We were searching for accommodation with reasonable rates
and a swimming pool as we were travelling with kids, and
found Palm Village after reading good reviews from travel
forums (both Virtual Tourist and Lonely Planet Thorn Tree). Our 6D/5N stay in September 2006 was very satisfying, from the exclusive location in the country side with ample interaction with nature, to the personalised service from staff - especially when the owner's son was our driver and we felt completely safe with our children in his care when they got tired of temple touring. We were pleasantly surprised with the attached baths lit via natural muslin filtered skylight and deadly cool rooms with fan & air-con. Furthermore, we could select unlimited items from the breakfast spread. Besides cable TV and observing nature at our doorstep, my kids were entertained by a pool table and a watch tower with good views of sunrise/sunset, Phnom Bakheng and Angkor Balloon. (not to mention the swimming pool). As I loved cooking, the owner gave me a live demonstration with hands-on class on Khmer food (incl. Amok, Khmer noodles, Lok Lak, etc), with some ingredients freshly picked from the garden. It was definitely a memorable stay and, compared with a pricey hotel we stayed at previously, definitely worthwhile! - Ily, Singaporean |

I remember so many good things at palm village. My kids talk
about the stays from time to time. Seeing the sunset from
the high building was so great. Also the staff members
always smiled at us. 8 months has passed since we visited.
But the pictures taken at palm village remind me of so
precious experience there. Thank you for your kindness. - Hyeja Chung, Korea |

Thanks for Palm Village that i could have a wonderful
romantic candle night dinner during my 24th birthday. I
believe it was a once life time experience. The swimming
pool and the room are both great too. The staff is perfect!
I was just like being served in a 5-star hotel! Recommend to
all tourists to Siem Reap. - Roe, Hong Kong |

"We stayed in Palm Village in November
'05 as part of our honeymoon. What a wonderful quaint place.
We did not want to leave. It is a little bit out of the
town, but a $2 tuk tuk will get you there in no time. You
experience a little of real Cambodian life rather than being
in the middle of the tourist area in Siem Reap. The price of
the accomodation is excellent given that you have your own
little chalet/cottage including a/c. The staff are great, so
polite and always wanting to help. If we return to Cambodia
we would come back and stay here." - Antoinette Behan/Billy King, Irish living in New York |

"So jetzt mal auf Deutsch. Wir waren 4 Nächte im Palm
Village.
Andrea, Germany |

"We stayed in Palm Village Nov 04 and had the most relaxing
and enjoyable 7 nights. A perfect place to stay away from
the huge 5 star hotels. This to us was better, a truly 5
star experience. The Amok fish was amazing! We wish you all
the luck in the world, thank you!" - Caroline and Gary, British |

"We spent a wonderful nine days relaxing at Palm Village.
The staff were amazing...so polite and helpful. Nothing was
too much trouble. Palm Village was such an oasis to return
to every afternoon after a full day of templing.... thank
you Palm Village!" - Natalie and Grant, Australia |

"My daughter and I stayed with you while visiting Cambodia
this year. After hot days visiting your wonderful temples,
we returned to the tranquillity of Palm Village where we
recharged our energy in peaceful and beautiful surroundings.
Thank your for a memorable stay, all good luck in the
future." - Pamela Blackah, British |
